Summer is winding down in Colorado and fall color will be here soon. We have had scorching heat, dramatic storms, and a spectacular amount of birds this year. Our summer travels included highlights such as Mount Blue Sky (AKA Mount Evans), Colorado National Monument, Mt Falcon, Silver Dollar Lake, 7 State parks, and the Grand Mesa. State Forest and the Grand Mesa boast exceptional verdant forests with vibrant lakes, Silver Dollar Lake and Mt Evans are alpine wonderlands, and Colorado National Monument contains spectacular desert scenery.
