The image processing for Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks is finally complete. Our busy summer has made it a challenge to keep up withe processing images. This was a bit of a struggle due to the summer haze producing challenging conditions, but we still enjoyed some beautiful scenery. The world's most massive tree (General Sherman) was a sight to behold at over 36 feet wide and simply doesn't translate well to pictures after being there. Kings Canyon is wild and beautiful with the King River being of the most turbulent rivers I have seen. The views of the Sierra Nevada are spectacular from overlooks in the parks and are only rivaled in the 48 states by our own Rocky Mountains.
Many new images are now in the Western Pacific Gallery. Yosemite National Park is coming soon along with some miscellaneous stops to round out the trip.
